• People with obesity problem are usually advised against using Mircette
• You are older than 35 years old.
Only use Mircette according to the dosage prescribed by your doctor. It comes in a 28-day pack and has seven reminder pills to keep you on regular cycle. Make sure you start a new pack when you run out of pills completely.
Stop Using Mircette If…
• You experience serious migraine and headache
• Noticed a breast lump developing
• Experience problem with your contact lenses
There are drugs that are known to affect the effectiveness of Mircette, such as:
• Acetaminophen
• Antibiotic
• St. John’s wort
• IV medicines such as amprenavir
You might experience breakthrough bleeding, especially during your first 3 months of using it.
You will need to check with your doctor to see if the medicine or health supplements that you’re taking is not going to interact with Mircette and reduce its effectiveness to help you prevent pregnancy. Never use any other health supplements without checking it with your doctor first.

• Levlen is not for you if you are pregnant or suspect that you’re probably pregnant.
• Only use it 4 weeks after you gave birth
• You happen to experience blood clot before this
• Anyone older than 35 years old is advised against using Levlen
There are medicines and health supplements that are known to interact with Levlen, such as:
Aprepitant, azole antifungals, HIV protease inhibitors and penicillins will reduce its effectiveness and increase your chance of getting pregnant.
Always check with your doctor before you start using Levlen because they will be able to provide you with professional advice whether or not this birth control pill is suitable for you.
Known Side Effects After Using Levlen:
• You might experience dizziness. So do not drive on a long distance if you’re planning to consume this birth control pill.
• You might notice a dark skin patches on your face after using Levlen. Avoid excessive exposure to the sun and it is advisable that you use sunscreen to protect your skin.
• You might also develop acne, changes in appetite and breast tenderness after using Levlen.

There is very low chance of getting pregnant while you’re on Levlen, but make sure you wear protection such as condoms and spermicides when necessary as it will not protect you against HIV and AIDS.
